Water circulation
It is important that water circulates in the tank at all times. You should therefore NEVER install a timer on the pump, since when the pump stops the small quantity of water in the tank will heat up, boil and evaporate causing significant damage which is not due to the malfunction but to the lack of water circulation. In this case, the pool heater warranty will not be valid.
Before stopping the water circulation, make sure that the pool heater has been stopped for at least 1 hour to allow the elements to cool.
Do not forget at the end of the season to completely empty the tank before
storing it indoors for the winter, this will prevent the tank from cracking due to
frost.
